Nancy Cross and the Hyundai Tournament of Champions Honored

Nancy Cross and the Hyundai Tournament of Champions were honored by the Friends of the Children’s Justice Center of Maui and named this year’s the “Maui Star for Keiki”.      The annual “Stars for Keiki” award goes to a community member or members who have gone above and beyond to make a difference in the lives of the children of abuse and neglect in Maui County. The award was presented to Ms. Cross On October 10th during the Friend’s annual benefit fundraiser.

For the past 16 years the Hyundai PGA tournament has allowed several of Maui’s non-profit agencies including the Friends to volunteer at, and financially benefit from the Tournament of Champions. This opportunity alone has allowed FCJC to distribute over a quarter of a million dollars to children on Maui for the prevention of child abuse and neglect.
